Columbia River
The Columbia River is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest at 1,243 miles long. The river originates in British Columbia, Canada, flows through Washington, and forms most of the border between Washington and Oregon before draining into the Pacific Ocean.

Located in central Washington State, Lake Chelan is 50.5 miles long and the largest natural lake in Washington State. Lake Chelan is fed by the glacial flow from the Cascade Range, and has a maximum depth of 1,486 feet. The average width of the lake is 1 mile.
Lake Chelan offers a wide range of activities from boating and water sports to fishing and nature watching. The northern portion of the lake is protected as part of the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area
