Manson Washington Turns 100!

Manson Washington is located just north of Chelan and has some of the most amazing wineries in the Chelan Valley. This year they are turning 100! Celebrate the centennial if you are in the area and have a chance to be a part of it.

Because of this historic occassion, the Manson Heritage Tree project will honor those that dedicated their lives to the founding of Manson. The Manson Heritage Tree is sponsored by the Manson Grange Community Center and is comprised of a metal sculpture by Manson artist Mark Strain. The Heritage Tree will be on display on the site of the Trout building in downtown Manson. This 15' X 22' sign also includes a plaque commemorating the event and names of those that have shaped Manson's past and those that will continue Manson's future.

You have a chance to get in on this historic event.  You can apply for a leaf on the tree but submissions are due Sept 1. Here are some other guidelines offered by The Lake Chelan Newspaper:
